This Year's Model Updates:

To celebrate 20 years of building minivans, Dodge will offer an Anniversary Edition package for the Grand Caravan with such features as chrome wheels, two-tone leather upholstery, embroidered floor mats and an in-dash CD/DVD changer paired with a rear entertainment system. Additionally, the company has simplified the trim level structure this year, so that buyers need only choose a base SE, a midlevel EX or a top-of-the-line SXT. The Grand Caravan also gets a tire-pressure monitor, upgraded audio systems and a new integrated key/remote.

Pros:
  • Excellent ride and handling characteristics, good low-end pull from 3.8-liter V6, roomy cabin, comfortable seats.
Cons:
  • No fold-flat third-row seat, unimpressive reliability history, subpar frontal offset crash test score, low resale value.

  • My office on the road - 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan

Great vehicle, with many uses. Its my office, my taxi, my way of hauling goods all over the place, we travel with it. So many uses. The only problem I have had with it is the seals around the sliding doors and back lift has out and I had to take it in to be re-glued a couple times. This vehicle handles great in snow and I need that in Cleveland winters. The traction control is wonderful

Fellow Americans, just because it doesnt have the "coveted" "H" ot "T" (Honda and Toyota) on the hood does not mean this isnt one great van. Great ride, excellent looks and all the Caravans I have ever owned have never given me a day of trouble. Take care of it and it will take care of you, for a lot less then the Honda or Toyota.

My Dodge Caravan is the most satisfying vehicle I have owned. It is easy to drive and operate. It is the most comfortable vehicle I have known. We thoroughly enjoy the high quality which allows us to carry six adults very comfortable. The sliding doors and opening hatch, all with a button from within or outside the vehicle, add to the convenience and pleasure of using the Caravan.

  • The best of the best! - 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan

We absolutely love the Dodge Grand Caravan!! We have the SXT Anniversary edition. It has tons of room and our daughter loves the DVD entertainment system! It handles fabulously in snow and rain, as well as dry road conditions. We really like the power doors and power rear lift gate -- its a blessing when trying to get an infant into the car with all of the baby gear, too! Weve gushed to our family and friends about our new vehicle and a few of them have gone out and purchased one for themselves!!

  • 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport - 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan

The first Dodge Caravan I owned was a 1985. I loved the versatility of the van. Then my best friend bought a 1993 Caravan and I fell in love with the extras it offered. The style had completely changed. It no longer looked like a box car but a sleek machine and I wanted one for myself. And to my suprise I just purchased a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport on March 1, 2004 it might not be knew but I wouldnt buy any other style.

Prior to this vehicle I had a 2001 Lincoln, Touring Sedan, Town Car. The Dodge Grand Carvan is far superior in all categories, leg room, passenger comfort, ride and driving. I now have two of these vehicles and love them. Over the years I have had numerous Lincolns and Cadillacs and with their downsizing since 1998 have made them unacceptable for my use. This Dodge fills the desires of a good size, comfortable, safe, fun to drive vehicle for me and my family.

  • A great Sport Van - 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan

This is the 3rd generation Dodge Caravan we have owned. (1985, 1992, and, now, 2003). Much to our kids confusion, we have kept the 1992 Caravan as our in-town vehicle. They BOTH are easy to drive. It is fun to drive, for me at 62" and my wife of 50". We both can feel comnfortable, see well, drive long trips (a periodic requirement for us) and arrive after 12 hours of driving without feeling fatigued. It is interesting that we have come from driving a VW Combi-van in the 1960s to Caravan in the 00s!
